Trying a service is not ongoing storage
A free offer is a time-limited way to see whether the service fits your needs. Read its storage and duration in the live plans page, not an older announcement. Try registration and the first upload with a few non-critical files. Avoid treating a free account as a permanent archive; realistic expectations reduce the risk of discovering a retention limit too late.
Read expiry conditions first
Expiry may mean more than losing permission to upload new files. The current offer’s account and file deletion rule is shown separately below. Read it before uploading a personal archive. Keep your own calendar reminder: missing an email does not automatically extend the period. Before the free offer ends, verify that you can download and open your independent copies.
What a paid plan actually offers
A paid plan lets you continue using selected storage during its service period. Choose quota for additional photos, video, regular document access or Windows working folders. Sharing and FileDrop can support that workflow too; judge their value against what you need. Paying does not guarantee an independent backup, unlimited traffic or access to every experimental feature.
Allow time for the transition
Application, payment reporting and activation are separate steps. After selecting a plan, follow the private bank instructions and include the order reference with the transfer. Wait for bank review and administrator approval, then confirm the new plan and dates in your panel. Clicking Report Payment alone does not extend the period. If you do not need continued service, downloading your files in time and keeping your own copy is also a valid choice; an upgrade should follow a clear need.
