How FileUSB works

Before your first sign-in

Use an email address you can access. Enter the code from the verification message into the registration screen and do not share it. If the message takes a few minutes, check Spam or Junk. Use resend after the waiting period shown on the screen. Rather than requesting messages repeatedly, work from the most recent one.

You may see a preparation screen after verification while your storage is being set up. The panel opens when it is ready. If preparation takes unusually long, do not create more accounts: tell support which screen you reached. Normal customers use their own FileUSB account, not a separate administrator account.

Start with a small file

Choose a file from the Upload menu. When the transfer finishes, check that the file appears in the panel, download it and open it to confirm the content. Starting an upload is not the same as completing it. Before sending a large collection, check your connection and remaining quota.

Name folders for the way you work. Sharing and FileDrop run in opposite directions: one sends a file, the other receives one. Read how the two flows differ. For regular Windows use, set up sync from My Devices. Keep device passwords out of support messages and screenshots.

Follow your plan dates

The free offer and paid options are displayed in the live catalog. Creating an application or reporting a payment does not activate a plan by itself. After bank review and approval, check the plan, quota and dates in your panel. Prepare a separate copy before your service period ends.
